Dubstep on guitar | A look back

Living in London without any of my guitar gear, I tried to make the most of it when I took time off in Norwich. In the odd weeks I was back home I wanted to roll back the years in jam sessions with friends and explore combining the new music I was coming across in London with guitar ideas. First introduced to a Rusko track by my brother, a few months later I was on Facebook.

Since then it’s good to see the bar has been well and truly raised by guitarists out there. Pro covers with pro gear instead of recording straight into a video cam from the late 90’s with no widescreen. Not keen on the original Skrillex track here but this cover in particular comes to mind, the drop tuning suiting the sound perfectly.
